I have been thinking about feeding my dog Organic pet foods, then I see something called "all natural foods." What is the difference if any?
A Organic means grown without herbicides or pesticides. All natural means everything in it is natural... eg. a plant, animal or grain. Pesticides are made to kill things... anyone who thinks they can kill the bugs and weeds but are perfectly safe to consume should really think about it. I know they are consumed in minute quantities, but over time I tend to wonder why we have so much more cancer and immunodeficiency ailments these days such as asthma and severe allergies. Whichever you go with be sure it is a good quality animal diet... as far as cost goes you are better off buying a grain free (or at lease wheat and corn free) diet over an organic diet with wheat or corn in the top 5 ingredients. If you can afford an organic grain free diet...then your pup is one lucky dog! Wheat and corn are much harder on your animal than the small amount of pesticides are... And this is coming from someone who buys organic LOTS and truely understands the difference.
the reason for the pet lover to buy a new organic pet food is because organic foods are healthy for your pets, not like other pet foods that cause dehydration and many other diseases. how to make the commercial works and attract the pet lover to buy our product eventhough it is more expensive
A There are organic pet foods now. The cost is but one problem to overcome. I buy my food at a specialized pet food store. The foods costs when done in large volume are not that far off those specialized non organic foods. Most pet owners buy their pet foods at grocery stores. It would take extensive advertising to point out to Owners that the very food they buy at supermarkets are not that nutritious and organic foods can end their pets illnesses and allergies. This pet food fiasco has exposed the fact that cheap foods were made at the same mills as the expensive foods. This will be interesting to see if the premium foods lose sales to the cheaper foods. That will be an even bigger hurdle for any new food claiming to be better for your pets.
