Putting together websites is not cheap.  Keeping them updated takes time, energy and money. Marketing them so you can find them is time intensive and expenive as well, so how do we make money?

So for us to receive credit, our links send cookies to the companies so that they know to send us a commission.  We do not farm out your information to companies for demographic purposes or to spam you.  No worries there.
